By downloading, installing, or using Jacket ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Jacket is a weather forecast application that provides personalized weather alerts and recommendations. The App uses third-party weather data from Open-Meteo and AI summaries from Google Gemini to generate forecasts.

Use of the Service

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to transmit harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Use automated systems to make excessive requests to the App's backend services

Weather Data Disclaimer

Weather forecasts are provided for informational purposes only. Jacket does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any weather data or recommendations. You should not rely solely on the App for decisions that could affect your safety or well-being. Always consult official weather services for severe weather warnings.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, use, or profits.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services (Open-Meteo, Google Cloud) to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document when changes are made.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
